A Commitment to Air Medical Excellence
National Air Ambulance, having been in service since 1976, has the distinction of being the State of Florida’s 1st Licensed air ambulance. Today, National Air Ambulance continues to be owned and operated by the same founding family and operates with the support of its parent corporation, National Jets Inc.
National routinely flies within the Caribbean and South, Central and North America from their base of operations located at Fort Lauderdale International Airport.
38 years of continuously operating air ambulance flights makes them the carrier of choice for Individuals, Travel Insurance Assistance Companies, Prominent Specialty Hospitals, Cruise Lines and Government Agencies.
Staffing is critical and therefore National utilizes Board-Certified Physicians, Critical Care/ER Flight Nurses, Respiratory Therapists and Paramedics trained in Critical Care Transport and Aero-physiology. Their commitment to Critical Care Transport soars above many air ambulances services available in the community today. Commitment to the patient is evident in the provision of the newest technology ventilators, “real-time” evaluation of critical laboratory values and upgraded monitoring capabilities to provide regular and invasive line monitoring.
From basic care to critical care, the safe and appropriate transfer of all patients is the goal of National Air Ambulance.
